Almost done.. just a little more…

So now I’m at the final stretch. I have now painted all of my kitchen, all the base boards and window, and almost all of my living room. I just have one small section to paint and I’ll finally be done with this F*#&ing project.

It’s been quite stressful these last seven days. The problem is I have no space so when I painted I needed to move all my crap to one side of the room.. then I would have to move it to the other side of the room to paint another wall. But I’m about to taste the fruits of my labor.

After I put away the paint brushes all that is need is to clean up the wood floors, rearrange some furniture and that’s it! Then I’ll be able to focus on what I want to replace my furniture with.

It should be fun.. can’t wait!

My Apartment Looks Like Crap..

Last weekend I got this great idea that I should paint my apartment. Let just say now I’m starting to rethink that decision. It’s been about four days and I’m still only halfway done with my kitchen (right) and living room (left).

The big issue is I don’t have much space in my apartment to begin with and now that most of my shit is displaced I feel like I’m living like a hobo. It’s a mess. I have dirty dishes from 4 days ago in the sink, my floor is full of paint, dust, and any other crap, paint cans everywhere, and I have no space to move around.

So the last couple of days I’ve been eating a lot of fast food because there is no way I can cook in my kitchen, and I’m really getting sick of it.

I’ve painted most of the walls and now I only really need to do the trim which is a pain. After that I should be done with the painting part and then comes the cleaning up which will most likely take me most of the weekend to do. I can’t wait till its all all over.

But after its all done then I can start getting new furniture and such. I REALLY want that LCD TV to hang on the wall.

Lets Cross our finger!

MAN.. Now I want an Xbox 360.. Geezz..

The other day… my friend Chris asked me if I was looking forward to the new Halo game coming out this year.

I answered.. “Umm not really.. I’ve never played Halo nor have I played Xbox for that matter.”

His jaw dropped and he yelled out “What!? What do you mean you’ve NEVER played Halo!?”

I swear I almost feared for my life I felt like I had pissed him off so much by me having no knowledge of Halo that I was going to get my ass kicked. So the next time we met up he brought his Xbox (which was pretty FREAKING big compared to my Slim Line PS2) and both Halo 1 and 2. That night I learned the glory of halo within the first night we beat Halo 1. The plot was ehh.. well not so special to me especially seeing how I love SquareEnix games but the game play was very fun and after settling into the way the controls work it felt very natural.

So after this I became a little obsessed and every time he came over I would ask him to bring his Xbox and Halo. I have now beat the second game and now long to play the third. I have also since them been researching the Xbox 360 and have decided that I will get one in the next couple of months.

But now because of this I now want an LCD TV no smaller then 37″. Damn you Chris…

So in my future I see myself being broke or in debt because I need to now raise about $1,500-$2,000 dollars to play for this very expensive addiction.

Any takers out there? Dang.. I didn’t think so.
