Lego Daniel

MY friend Matthew took some time and edited one of the photos he took of me when we went to Downtown Disney. He called it “Lego Daniel” because it was right in front of the Lego store they have there. Not too bad. Kind of cool how the colors stick out.

Lots of *New* Photos on Flickr

In the last two weeks I’ve uploaded a lot of new photos to Flickr. If you’ve missed out check out each set below or you can just see all my photos here.

Geocaching In Al Lopez Park

Geocache Path MapOn Sunday my friend Doug invited me to go Geocaching with him. I’ve never done it and it was the first time I had ever heard about it so I thought it would be fun to try it out.

It was pretty awesome. Its was like a treasure hunt but with a GPS. We ended up doing it in Al Lopez Park and walked about 3 miles. We found 4 geocaches with in about 2 hours. (map of our walk to the right, click it to see the whole path we took)

I have to say after this little adventures I can’t wait to do it again and now I want to get my own GPS.

I found afterwards on geocaching.org that there are about 900 geocache locations in Tampa, FL. I think that it’s amazing that so many people have hidden things all over the city.

Who knows… maybe I’ll decided to hide some tresures I have.

Panorama: My Cube

I brought my camera to work today and decided to capture the great views I have from my office (its a cube) and share it with the world. It’s not much but she is all mine, until they fire me.

Panorama: My New Home

I was given a Casio Exilim EX-Z250 5.0 Mega Pixel camera and decided to take advantage of it. A friend of mine at work one day way showing me his Canon camera and how it could stitch pictures on the fly to create a panoramic picture. He also showed me the “Photo Merge” feature in Photoshop CS3 which I had no idea that it making panoramic pictures was built into PS.

I took my new camera.. well new to me.. and started to make my own panoramic of where I recently moved too. Unfortunately my camera didn’t come with the fancy stitching feature built in so I used plain old PS to put it all together. I think it came out pretty well for my first time, take a look.

BTW the guy in the first pic is my roommate Lane in the living room. Second pic is my bedroom. I know theirs not much too it, but its home and I’m simplifying my life (on purpose).
