Last weekend I got this great idea that I should paint my apartment. Let just say now I’m starting to rethink that decision. It’s been about four days and I’m still only halfway done with my kitchen (right) and living room (left).
The big issue is I don’t have much space in my apartment to begin with and now that most of my shit is displaced I feel like I’m living like a hobo. It’s a mess. I have dirty dishes from 4 days ago in the sink, my floor is full of paint, dust, and any other crap, paint cans everywhere, and I have no space to move around.
So the last couple of days I’ve been eating a lot of fast food because there is no way I can cook in my kitchen, and I’m really getting sick of it.
I’ve painted most of the walls and now I only really need to do the trim which is a pain. After that I should be done with the painting part and then comes the cleaning up which will most likely take me most of the weekend to do. I can’t wait till its all all over.
But after its all done then I can start getting new furniture and such. I REALLY want that LCD TV to hang on the wall.

I would love it if Santa could visit me and I could have a chat with the Jolly Man.
Why? Well for one thing I have a lot of questions for him. It would be like a Barbra Walters Special. An exclusive interview where we would dig deep into this round man in a red suits past.
Here are some of the questions I would ask him.
- Santa.. What year where you born and where?
- Do you always wear the red suit and hat all year?
- Why red?
- What made you want to give all the worlds children’s presents in one night? Why not just give money to charity?
- Have you ever wanted to skip a Christmas and take a break?
- Where do you get all the money from to make all those presents? Do you have any bulk deals with manufacturers?
- If the elf’s make your presents then how do they know how to make the latest and greatest gadgets?
- Have you ever out sources some of your gift making to other countries?
- Do your elf workers get paid and have benefits?
- How many more years do you think you’ll continue giving out presents? Do you have an appetence?
What would you ask Santa?

About a month ago my 60GB iPod Photo crapped out on me. This was the 3rd time in just a little over a year this had happened, except this time the warranty was up and I couldn’t replace it.
I was and still am very upset. I use, I mean “used” my iPod everyday at work for about 4-6 hours a day. Now I have no music to listen to. I won’t buy a Nano because I have about 40GB of music and at this point I have lost quite a bit of trust in Apple.
So since I’m strapped for cash I figured I would start a “Trash My iPod, I’m Getting a Zune“ .
Here is how it works:

I need $250 to get a new Zune music player, if you don’t Zune is made by Microsoft and competing with the Apple iPod. Once the goal is reached I will buy a Zune. After that I will find a unique way to trash my current 60GB iPod Photo.
What’s great is all of you out there will have be able to the best way you think I should trash my iPod, the more unique the better. What ever you can think of that would be the coolest to watch and take pictures of.
You can email me, zlinko@hotmail.com, or leave me a comment on how you want my iPod to be trashed.
Also as a bonus, the person who donates the most will get a special gift. I will send them what is left of my iPod mounted in a frame so they can hang it up and brag to all there friends.
After you donate if you send me your name and picture I will put it up on my blog and tell the world how great you are.
So there you go.
Start donating because I want to start trashing!
To donate just click the top banner that says “Trash My iPod, I’m Getting a Zune“. It will send to my dontion page on Amazon.com. There you can also see how far from the goal we are and how many people have donated.

Thanks for donating!

Next Monday I start my new second job at the Discovery Channel Store.
Fun… not really. I’ve known for quite sometime now that I needed to get a second job to help pay some of my bills but I have been avoiding it like the plague.
But now its done come next week you can find me at the International Mall saying “Welcome to the Discovery Channel Store! Can I help you find something?”
Not the most attractive job in the world and neither is the pay but its better then working at the Gap and having to buy there cloths just work there.
I think it could be fun some of my friends work there so I know I won’t be bored bit again I bet I will be tired as hell because of having have two jobs.
Any way’s wish me luck!

I swear every f*#%ing time I want to use the restroom at my work the cleaning lady is in there cleaning.
Now I can appreciate the fact that the building cleans the restrooms a couple of time a day but come on. How much f&#(ing sense does it make to clean the restroom during the lunch hour?
You know everyone is going to have to pee. You know people are going to be racing the the restroom with there legs crossed.
I believe they do it to get back at us. Ya they know they have a shifty job so to stick it to the man they decide to clean the restroom when you need it most.
Man… I REALLY have to pee…

See that picture above? That is the tattoo I want to get on my upper back this Christmas. Why? Why not… I’ve always wanted one and I think now is the perfect time to get one.
I think I will give it to myself as a Christmas present. I’ve never had a tattoo so it should be an eye opening experence.
The picture above is not the final design of the tattoo but that is somewhat close. I’m having a couple of friends look at it and give me there opinions before I do anything.
I also have to get the cash to do it. From what I’ve been told I think this tattoo will cost around $200 buck. So if you feel like donating some money for my tattoo feel free to drop me a line.

So it seems so far that January 1st I could be moving. It’s not really going to be a move more like a hop and a skip.
Where is it?
About 20 feet away from my current place.
Why am I going to move?
There are a couple of reasons.
- It will be a tad bit cheaper
- All utilities are included (water, electric, and trash)
- I get free… yes FREE wireless internet
- New Stainless Steal appliences.. yummy!
- Its and open floor plan loft. I love lofts
- Oh and it has exposed bricks.. so cool.
The most important one is that my cost of living will go down slightly which is always a good thing. And why not move, its exciting, and new!
So here is a picture of the place I “may” be moving into.

So what do you think?
Leave a comment and let me know.

Besides some obvious things like I haven’t spoke to my mother in almost a week, and only having $8 to my name until the end of the week, I think things might have started to go my way.
I don’t want to jinx anything but so far this week has been for the most part been going well.
Monday I got a weekend job at the mall so I can try to catch up on some of my bills. I start this coming Monday and will only be working Friday evenings and the weekend. It’s only minimum wage but whatever helps to get me ahead.
Also I got my computer back up and running after a struggle with Windows XP over a stupid CD Key. Which I finally found and did the 5-6 hour long wait of updating my PC with all the latest security patches and so on.
Today… I mean yesterday (Tuesday) I finally got a new computer at work too. Now I’m living the somewhat good life with Windows XP and a AMD 64 bit processor. Its kind of funny that the 64 bit processor goes to waste though because I’m only running a 32 bit OS. But it works great and its nice to be out of the ’90 with Windows 2000 (which I hate and am discussed by).
Also my friend Jennie, love you Jennie congraz on up coming wedding, finished tracing the tattoo that I think I will be getting this Christmas. I will post more about it later.
And I think if all goes well, January 1st of 2007 I will be moving. Not very far only like 20 feet to another apartment. The cool part is it a better place and it will save me money. I’ll also post more about this later.
So it seems that my luck might be changing for the better but I don’t want to get my hope up too much so we’ll just have to ride it out and see.

So for about the past 3 weeks I’ve made some pretty big changes in my life. One of them is I have started to workout again. I joined Lifestyle Family Fitness, which I love. It’s great I have never been so motivated to workout. I have a personal trainer which I have seen about twice a week so far. He is great and he knows exactly what needs to be done and is very good with his clients. This next week I’m on my own… not by choice.. if I could afford to do more personal training I would I think its really worth it. But since not everyone is a millionaire we work with what we can. I do plan to get more time with him so that I can expand my workout and keep it fresh.
So what are some of the other changes? Well I’m not drinking sodas anymore. The last 3 weeks I have been replacing almost every drink with water, hence the picture above. I have only had a Coke product once during this period which I think is great since I would have one at least 3 times a day. I have to say I feel better and with more energy too since I did the switch. Now I have to try to work on drinking more. I have only been able to drink around 1.5 liters a day but since I’m working out I was told I should be drinking around 3 liters. That’s a lot of water.
Last I have started to run again which I am very happy about. So far I have gone from being able to run only 15 mins for about 1-1.5 miles to now 3.3 miles in 30 mins without stopping. My breathing has become better and every time I run it becomes easier. My goal is to get my mile down to about 8.5-9 mins. That means I would have to run at the speed 7.0 to be at 8.5, right now I’m at 6.5 so far. 0.5 might not seem like that much faster but it is and on top of that I would have to do that same speed for about 30 mins without stopping.
If your in the Tampa Bay area and want to start to work out I would recommend Lifestyles. Also if you want a great personal trainer try Chad Golding, C.P.T. (my trainer). You can call him at (813) 447-0277 or email him at changyourself@netzero.net. From what I know he works out of the Lifestyles in Hyde Park, Tampa.
Hope to see you at the gym
